Distribution in Iran. Kuhgiloyeh & Boyerahmad, Tehran (Anton 1998; Khoobdel et al. 2011), Razavi Khorasan (Ghahari et al. 2010), Iran (no locality cited) (Decelle & Lodos 1989; Anton 2010; Bagheri-Zenous 2011).

General distribution. Mediterranean basin, Caucasian countries, the Middle East, Central Asia.

Host records. Lentil (Farahbakhsh 1961; Modarres Awal 1997).

Comments. Dinarmus acutus (Thomson, 1878) ( Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) was recorded by Ghahari et al. (2010) as the parasitoid of Bruchus lentis .
