A. Oeste – Rio Negro – Arg. II-15] [ Neomegacoelum scutelosum n.g. n.sp. det Carpintero].

Remarks. Chérot & Carpintero (2006) replaced Carvalhocoris preoccupied by Carvalhocapsus; the valid name is Carvalocapsus scutellosum (Carpintero & Chérot) . In the original publication the type material listed is a female holotype from La Pampa, Río Colorado, I-1994, luz, Carpintero deposited in MLP and a male paratype from Rio Negro San Antonio Oeste II-1915 deposited in the Carpintero coleccion. The holotype has a vial of genitalia attached to the pin.
