Genus Strumigenys F. Smith ^HNS

Strumigenys ^HNS is a predominantly tropical genus, represented in California by a single, nonnative species, S. silvestrii Emery ^HNS. Species in this genus whose biology has been studied are specialist predators of springtails and other small arthropods.
