Distribution. Japan (Kyushu) (Matsuo et al. 2021: 456).

Biology. Only the sexual generation has been described, which induces stalked spindle-shaped galls in leaves and twigs of Castanopsis cuspidata (Thunb.) Schottky (Table 1; Matsuo et al. 2021).
