Distribution. Taiwan (Schwéger et al. 2015b: 49–51).

Biology. Reared from rounded stem swelling galls on Q. hypophaea (sect. Cyclobalanopsis) (Schwéger et al. 2015b). The gall inducer has yet to be confirmed.
