Palaearctic Region: China (Hong Kong) (Yiu 2009; Lin and Yang 2019; Danilevsky 2020). Oriental Region: India; Myanmar; Philippines; Sri Lanka; Thailand; Laos; Vietnam (Kariyanna et al. 2017; Lin and Yang 2019).

Remarks.

In Macau, adults are active only in the spring and range in total length 9.5-15 mm and 2-4 mm in maximum width. Although they have been found mainly around artificial lights at night, they have also been observed feeding on flowers of Lonicera japonica and Gardenia jasminoides during daytime (RP & LC pers. obs.). Larval host plants include Artidesma tetrandrum, Bauhinia malabarica, Careya arborea, Heritiera minor, Lagerstroemia parviflora and Shorea robusta (Duffy 1968; Makihara et al. 2008).
