Remarks.
In Macau, adults of this species are active throughout the spring and are generally found in proximity to artificial lights at night. Their range in total length is 9-11 mm, and 1.5-3 in maximum width. In nearby Hong Kong, larvae of this species bore into Citrus spp. plants (Yiu 2009). Other larval host plants include Diospyros kaki, Mallotus japonicas, Quercus acuta (Lim et al. 2014), and in Japan even cultivated Prunus salicina (Kusigemati 1985).
