Distribution.

Palaearctic Region: China (Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Guizhou, Hainan, Henan, Hong Kong, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jangxi, Shaanxi, Taiwan, Yunnan, Zhejiang); North & South Korea (Yiu and Yip 2011; Lin and Yang 2019; Danilevsky 2020).

Remarks.

In Macau, adults are active only during late spring to early summer and specimens range in total length 10-16 mm and 2-4 mm in maximum width. They feed on a variety of flowers during the hottest part of the day, including Acronychia pedunculata, Dalbergia benthamii and Elaeocarpus sylvestris . Known larval food plants include Cinnamomum camphora, Machilus spp. and Pueraria lobata (Lim et al. 2014).
