Dicentria NONDESCRIPTA Kaye, 1922

Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London, 67, 991–998 [991], pl. I: fig. 9. Combination still valid.

Holotype, female, pinned:

Specimen data: “Palmiste. | 14/7/17. ” [Handwritten (by Lamont)]. “Lamont | Collection | 1950.16” [Printed]. “ Type ” [Typewritten in red, large font] on verso “ Dicentria | nondescripta | Kaye” [Handwritten]. “ Dicentria nondescripta | Kaye female | not holotype | Det. M.J.W. Cock 2000” [Printed].

Remarks: This specimen was considered by Lamont to be the type, so the date of capture (“ 25.xii.20 ”) given in the type description must be one of Kaye’s many errors especially as this date is not mentioned in Kaye & Lamont (1927). The species is illustrated in Pl. I: fig. 9 (Kaye 1922, Kaye & Lamont 1927).
