Label by M.J.W.Cock, 1997, justifying type designation of specimen, but under the name Gabara insuetalis Kaye, 1925 !

Remarks: This specimen collected at Palmiste, Trinidad on 15th January 1921 by Sir N. Lamont is unambiguously the holotype. A colour illustration of the species, based on the holotype and paratype is shown in Pl. XLV: fig. 9 (Kaye 1925, Kaye & Lamont 1927).
