Remarks: Originally described from specimens collected by Leech in the “Sind and Gurais Valleys, Kashmir” (Hampson, 1894). This is one of those specimens and so is undoubtedly part of the syntype series passed to the RSM by the BM(NH) in 1903 as part of the BM(NH)’s Duplicated Dispersal Scheme.
