Remarks: This specimen was transferred to the museum in 1912 as part of the BM(NH)’s Duplicate Disposal Scheme. The label implies that this specimen was one of the original type series. Moore (1879) described the species from specimens in both his own collection and that of Major A. M. Lang. The type locality is given as “Masuri, N.W.Himalayas.” As no holotype was designated in the original or subsequent texts, this specimen is a syntype.
