Remarks: This specimen which was standing over the above cabinet label in Austin Richardson’s collection is undoubtedly the type and described and illustrated by him in (Richardson 1958: Pl. IX: fig. 4). The allotype was bred in x. 1957 from wild larva taken at Tresco. Four additional paratypes have not yet been located in Richardson’s collection, and 4 more should be at the BM(NH).
