Nepidae

Two genera with 12 described species are known to occur in Argentina (Coscarón 2017). Poi de Neiff (1984, 1993, 2003) and Estévez e t al. (2003) previously reported three species from INR. During this study, we collected these species and another three, including one new country record for Argentina: Curicta granulosa . Ranatra heydeni Montandon, 1909, reported from Corrientes Province (Montandon 1909; Pennington 1920 –1921; De Carlo 1946, 1959, 1964 a, 1973), has not been collected in INR.
