Gelastocoridae

Gelastocoridae is represented in Argentina by 10 species and subspecies in three genera (Coscarón 2017). Estévez et al. (2003, 2010) and Estévez & López Ruf (2006) previously reported two species of Gelastocoridae from INR, which were not collected during this study: Nerthra gaucha Estévez & Schnack, 1981 and Nerthra ranina (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1853). Nerthra nepaeformis (Fabricius, 1775) and N. unicornis (Melin, 1929), reported from Corrientes Province (Schnack & Estévez 1979; Bachmann 1998), have not been collected from INR.
