Pointe Radeau, S of Roches Noires, shell debris, near reef gap (NMSA K9538) ; 3 sh, Pointe Radeau, S of Roches Noires, shell debris, near reef gap (NMSA K9549) ; 1 sh, Grande Baie, SW side, beachdrift (NMSA K8864) ; 40 sh, Riambel Lagoon, beachdrift (NMSA K9796) ; 14 lv and 2 sh, Ilot Fourneau, lagoon, in clumps of fine green alga, <- 1 m at L.S.T. Distribution: IndoWest Pacific.The occurrence of this species in South Africa is limited to a single juvenile specimen found close to the border with Mozambique (Fig. 17).
