Distribution: Ecuador.

Records in Ecuador: Galápagos (Islas: Santa Cruz, Pinzón, Floreana, Isabela).

Habitat: Arid, transition and moist zone. Isla Santa Cruz: dry zone, barranco north of CDRS, in dripping wet and well-decayed grass litter of Cyperus sp. with roots and humus. Isla Pinzón: southern crater rim, under Scalesia incisa and Croton scouleri, in moist leaf and wood litter. Isla Floreana: cultivated area north of Cerro Pajas, moist litter and moss under Zanthoxylum fagara and Macraea laricifolia . Isla Isabela, V. Sierra Negra, Transition- Scalesia zone on the southern slope, under Sapindus saponaria, moist decayed leaf litter with roots; fern-sedge —guajaba zone, in forest of Psidium guajava, Pteridium aquilinum, in moist leaf litter, partially decayed, and moss.
