Gymnetron pilosum Gyllenhal
Gymnetron pilosum Gyllenhal, 1838: 763; Brisout 1862: 659; Desbrochers 1893: 27.
This taxon was described from specimens from Podolia (Ukraine) and Magdeburg (Germany), of which there is a male in the NHRS labelled "male [printed white rectangular label] / Typus [printed red rectangular label] / Gym: pilosus Besser, Pod. austral. Besser [handwritten white rectangular label]". It is here designated as the lectotype of Gymnetron pilosum Gyllenhal, 1838 (des. Caldara). Both the original description and the redescription by Brisout (1862) agree very well with this specimen, which corresponds to our taxon A.
