Distribution in Croatia: Known from the Mediterranean part (Istria, Kvarner, Dalmatia, Dubrovnik region, Adriatic Islands), and from some parts of the Dinaric Alps characterized by the Mediterranean climate.

Distribution in Europe: Widespread in the southern part of Europe (Iberian Peninsula, Apennine Peninsula, the Balkans and surroundings, Crimea) (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
