Distribution in Croatia: Not common, present in the Pannonian region, Istria, and the Dinaric Alps (Velebit Mt., Lička Plješivica Mt.).

Distribution in Europe: From Northern Iberian Peninsula, and Northern Italy and Bulgaria (southern distribution border) to Northern Sweden and Finland (northern border), present also in England and Ireland (Hochkirch et al. 2016).
