Genus Phaenoserphus Kieffer, 1908

Type species: Proctotrupes calcar Haliday, 1839

Diagnosis: Frons without a distinct median swelling; side of pronotum smooth or sometimes its antero-ventral 0.4 partly rugose-punctate; propodeum reticulately wrinkled, with a long median carina; costal side of radial cell about 0.4 as long as depth of stigma; first and second discoidal cells confluent; lower half of lateral aspect of syntergite with moderately dense hairs (Townes & Townes 1981).

Distribution: Holarctic region (Kolyada & Chemyreva 2019).
