Remarks.

This taxon cannot be found in the literature. As stated by article 45.6.2 (ICZN 1999) it is deemed to be an infrasubspecific name (the author used “aberration”, “ab.”) and is hence unavailable. The current name of the species is Pyronia cecilia (Vallantin, 1894).
