Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Vietnam, Vinh Phu Prov., Tam Dao, 1100 m, 3.vi.1997, Y. Arita leg. (Fig. 7, NSMT) . Paratype: 1 ♀, same locality, 3.v.1994, H. Karube leg. (Fig. 8, NSMT) .

This species was described from several specimens collected in Northern Vietnam. We figure it here due to its superficial similarity to species of Lamellisphecia, including L. minwangi sp. nov.
