Gymnetron trigonale Gyllenhal, 1838

Gymnetron trigonale was described from specimens collected at Odessa (Ukraine) and compared with R. antirrhini (Paykull, 1800) . Brisout de Barneville (1865) considered this taxon as a variety of R. tetra with the elytral integument broadly reddish. We examined a female syntype at NHRS labelled “ Typus / Khersonia, Lundstedt” (lectotype here designated) and agree with Brisout de Barneville's opinion.
