DISTRIBUTION: SW South Africa; S Namibia.

SYNONYMS: inselbergensis, plowsi.

COMMENTS: Ellerman et al. (1953) included janetta as a subspecies of suillus, but de Graaff (1975) regarded janetta and suillus as separate species.
