Type locality. Described from coasts of Tripolitania (Libya).

Remarks. Recorded by MolluscaBase (2018) as taxon inquirendum. The type material does not allow to classify it with certainty.

Remarks. Recorded by MolluscaBase (2018) as taxon inquirendum. The type material belongs to Cerithium lividulum Risso, 1826 [new synonymy].

Remarks. Recorded by MolluscaBase (2018) as a synonym of Cerithium alucastrum (Brocchi, 1814) .
