Distribution. Kenya, Somalia (Ragge 1961a); Tanzania.

Habitat. Semi-desert areas of eastern Africa (Ragge 1961a). Roadside vegetation and in herbaceous vegetation of savanna grasslands at the eastern slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Altitudinal range at Mt Kilimanjaro: 1000–1100 m.
