Collettea sp. A (Fig. 7 A, B)

Material examined. One male (ZMH­K40915): Polarstern Cr. PS136/4; 64°01.54'­ 64°01.45' S, 39°06.88'­ 39°06.66' W, depth 7100 m. 13 Mar 2002.

Distribution. Species known only from type locality. Atlantic Sector of Southern Ocean, out of Weddell Sea.

Remarks. Collettea sp. A resembles C. arnaudi (Shiino) in the proportions of the pereonites, the pleonites, and the telson, but it has a more elongate carapace (length/wide ratio 1.5) than C. arnaudi (length/wide ratio 1.5). The two species are known only from opposite genders so detailed comparison is not possible at the moment.
