Published (original) locality: Kazakhstan, S Zhana-Arka, foodplain of Taldy-Manak River (Karaganda Prov.).

Current status. Andrena (Planiandrena) tobiasi Osytshnjuk, 1983 (according to Gusenleitner & Schwarz 2002: 69).

Remarks. Although the holotype specimen was reported by Osytshnjuk (1983a: 797) as deposited in the ZISP collection, we have not found it here at present.

Distribution. Kazakhstan.
