Type locality: Dushanbe (Tajikistan).

Paratypes: 3 ♀, Туранга, БадхыЗ [Turkmenistan, Badhyz Nature Seserve, Turanga], степь [steppe], цв.[етки] [flowers of] Eremodaucus lehmannii, 30.IV.[1]978, Песенко [Yu. Pesenko leg.] // Paratypus Andrena pesenkoi Osytsh. <red labels on each paratype specimen>.

Current status. Andrena (Aenandrena) pesenkoi Osytshnjuk, 1984 (according to Osytshnjuk et al. 2005: 73)

Remark. Male unknown (according to Osytshnjuk et al. 2005: 74).

Distribution. Turkmenistan, Tajikistan. The record from Azerbaijan by Aliyev et al. (2017) is doubtful.
