Andrena gussakovskii Lebedev, 1932: 65, ♀.

Type locality: Yrgak (Uzbekistan).

Published (original) locality: ‘Tashkent, Dzhizak, Kiziltsha, Tshangir, Jargak’ (Uzbekistan).

Lectotype: ♀, designated by Osytshnjuk et al. 2008: 219, Яргак, Зеравш.[ан], окр.[естности] [Uzbekistan, near Zeravshan, Yargak, 39°55′N 67°34′E], 28.IV.[19]28, Л. Зимин [L. Zimin leg.] // к. Current status. Andrena (Melandrena) marmora Nurse, 1904, syn. nov.

Remarks. The opinion on the conspecificity of these species was previously expressed by Gusenleitner & Schwarz (2002: 462), Wood & Monfared (2022: 85) and Wood (2023b: 37). After the publication of illustrations of the primary types of both species (Wood 2023b: 36, fig. 19; current paper, Fig. 25) this opinion was confirmed.

Osytshnjuk et al. (2008: 219) mistakenly spelled the type locality as “Yarchak”.
