Daira americana Stimpson, 1860
Material examined. One male (ICMyL MAZ 9057) from Caleta de Campos and one male from La Manzanilla (ICMyL MAZ 9358A).
Remarks. Recorded from the Gulf of California to the Galápagos Islands (Villalobos-Hiriat et al. 1989). Ramírez-Luna et al. (2002) recorded the species in the Huatulco region as symbiotic to corals. Our data provides two new locations and confirms its presence on the Mexican Tropical Pacific coast.
