Tachygerris adamsoni (Drake, 1942)

This species is widely distributed from northern South America to Paraguay (Damgaard et al. 2014). It was listed from French Guiana by Andersen (1995), but no details were provided. We herein confirm its presence in the country based on material collected in the commune of Roura.

Material examined. FRENCH GUIANA: Cayenne —Roura, Bélizon route, N 0 4.35914, W 0 52.32790, 06.III.2014, (A. Khila; M. E. Santos; A. J. J. Crumière): 9 macropterous males, 4 macropterous females, 1 nymph (IGFL).
