Blaste is a large and complex genus, with several purported subgenera commonly treated as full genera, and is distributed widely. However, few species are known from south-east Asia, with records from Thailand (1 species), Malaysia (2) and Singapore (1). The species described below is the second from Indonesia, and appears to differ from the poorly known Blaste (Euclismia) binotata Enderlein (from Java) in wing venation.
