Comments. This species was known previously from India, Indonesia (Drake & Ruhoff 1965a), Laos (Guilbert 2007), Vietnam (Guilbert 2015). It has been recently introduced into France (Streito et al. 2010) and Italy (Pedata et al. 2013) feeding on Jasminium sp. It may have reached USA according to recent observations (not published).
