Branchinecta paludosa (Müller, 1788)

Comments. Rogers et al. (2006) commented on a grey literature report of B. paludosa (Rabe, 2001) . The B. paludosa material collected by Rabe was discarded and never verified (Rabe, personal communication), however Rogers et al. (2006) stated that it was likely that Rabe found this species as this taxon occurs in Utah (USA) and Alberta (Canada), so its presence in Idaho would be expected. Hossack et al. (2010) report B. paludosa from north western Montana (USA), providing further support that this species may occur in Idaho.
