Genus Limonius Eschscholtz, 1829

Comments. Platia & Ghahari (2016) listed from Iran one species of Limonius and one species of Nothodes LeConte, 1861 . Etzler (2019) revised Limonius and related genera, and considered Nothodes being a synonym of Limonius . We follow this most up-to-date revision of Limonius and, therefore, two species of this genus are currently known from Iran.
