Type Locality: Guinea, Tahiré (foot of Kelesi Plateau).

Vernacular Names: Guinean Horseshoe Bat.

Distribution: Senegal, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).

Discussion: landeri species group. Originally described as a subspecies of landeri, but see Böhme and Hutterer (1979), who demonstrated that it is a separate species.
